Happy Easter

HE IS RISEN! Praise the Lord....HE IS RISEN!

We had an unusual Easter....not together as a family and Xan and I at the hospital....but it was good and God was good to us. We are still in Texas helping out and we all went up to the hospital yesterday to celebrate the day with Caed. The entire Everitt family was there with the exception of Stan....that made me sad. We were there for a couple of hours and the kids hunted eggs in Caed's room and Nana read an Easter storybook and then Granddaddy told the Easter story using the Resurrection Eggs. Xan slept thru the stories and could have cared less about the egg hunt. She had spied a gock (chocolate) egg in her basket and that was all she wanted. Caed did ok but didn't get too excited. Lori had talked with me earlier this week and said that visitors-especially children- seemed to do him some good because they brought some life and change into his room. He has now been there 23 days and he is so weary (as are his parents and grandparents) but God continues to move and we are praising Him for that.

Thank you all for your prayers. I know that we are where we need to be and that we are relieving a burden for Lori and Todd (but Xan and I miss Stan terribly so please pray for that specificially too). I have certainly grown attached to little Caleb. He is now 6 weeks old and I've been helping to care for him for almost 1/2 of his life. He is a sweety. Xan and I sleep in his room most nights and take care of the nighttime/early am feedings and it is working great. Reagan has been a trooper too....her whole little world has been rocked and she just goes along with whatever is happening. God is so in the middle of all of this and I'm very thankful.

Again, thanks for all your prayers. Here are a few Easter pics.

This one was from last week..she learned to drive. :)
