Bandaid Drama
We went to the cabinet to get a bandaid for her finger, which really was injured.....bleeding and all, however in the process we (ok...I) hit her head with the cabinet door. It was very mild and barely brazed her forehead but the finger was forgotten and the bandaid used elsewhere. She insisted on "do it myself".
Please note....I did not ask for this horrible "frown" below.....she came up with that all by herself. I think she was still angry with Mom for trying to take her out with a door.
Momma, "PLEASE XAN.....can Momma please have a smile?" She humored me.....sorta.

Gotcha Day
Can't believe we've had Xan two years now....well as of Sept 18....I'm a little late posting but who really notices. (only those few who have sent me oh so subtle hints about updating my blog--haha). We will always celebrate that day in our family as it is such an amazing story for us. God continues to bless us beyond imagination with the sweet miracle that is Alexandria Mei Everitt. Her Baba got her golf clubs and a golf bag--pink of course and complete with her monogram to celebrate the occassion and then we went out for dinner. Here are some pics from that day. If you want to check out the Gotcha Day history....http://everittfamily.blogspot.com/2007/09/sept-18-gotcha-day.html
Tiny Hiney
Is there anything cuter than a 2 year old hiney? (confession: I don't really know how to spell hiney but you know to what I am referring). She was sitting on the counter while I was cooking dinner one night and then I turned around and this was her posture.....couldn't resist snapping a couple of quick pics.
Ole' in Atlanta
Here are some pics of a recent trip we made to Atlanta for an adoption conference. Xan loved the nice big bed and pillows at the hotel but wasn't sure what to think of the Mariachi band....or the view she had......you just gotta hate yellow stretch pants in mass. :) enjoy!
